Back in 2013 Tiffany was pursuing her graduate degree in Design For Social Innovation in New York City. Claire was in college in Los Angeles and working as a sex-health educator for homeless teens. It was through each of their thesis research, that they both realized how lack of condom use was a huge setback for women's health and empowerment.
Upon graduating, they united in New York to reimagine the condom experience. They conducted focus groups and interviews to understand how women would feel more confident buying, carrying, and providing condoms.
Women told them that they wanted condoms that they could carry in
their purse safely, and stylishly. Condoms with more intuitive wrappers. Condoms without weird flavors or chemicals. They wanted condoms that made them feel fabulous- physically, and emotionally.
